Voluntary Experience
SIGNAL 107 - 2016–2019
Over the course of three years I volunteered at Signal 107 to edit and produce highlight packages for Wolverhampton Wanderers matches. Alongside production, I also ran the fans phone-in, calling listeners and sending calls through to the main studio. The experience garnered here helped with my communication with the public and production skills, as well as working in a professional environment.
SHOCK RADIO – 2019-2022
I joined Shock Sports in 2019 as a co-presenter, during this year I covered a Salford Red Devils match and a University Rugby final, attending the games to provide live commentary and a match report. I was promoted to Head of Sport for the next two years to take the show forward. During COVID I created an Instagram page and moved the show from Mixcloud to Spotify to increase audience demographic, we have since moved back to live studio broadcasting. This proves my ability to make use of online promotion and come up with ideas to improve an existing product. I have also lead a successful team which shows my ability to organize and work well within a team of journalists.
TALKING WOLVES – 2020-PRESENT
I have been working alongside one of Wolves’ biggest fan channels, Talking Wolves, since July 2020, presenting on fan reaction and research-based video content. I also take part in extra presenting work on their weekly live shows. Alongside videos, I have also published numerous match reports and player rating pieces, a skill which has deeply improved my tactical analysis and statistical research.
LIVE AT THE QUAYS – 2020-2022
I also played a key part in the student-led ‘Live at the Quays’ page. This media production group has given me the chance to lead numerous interviews with university sports societies as well as professional sports stars such as basketballers Breaon Brady and Jordan Whelan. I am also the lead presenter on their most popular show Planet Sport. These opportunities have greatly broadened my interest in sports research and helped me feel at home in front of a camera.
WDSPORTZ – 2020-PRESENT
I have gained substantial commentary experience with WDSportz, providing commentary on FA Cup and Essex Senior League coverage. I have had the chance to cover well-known teams such as Hashtag United and coveted competitions such as the FA Cup. This experience has provided me with crucial experience in commentary and an extensive knowledge of different leagues/players. I have the ability to research teams and factual information to put forward high-level and knowledgeable insight.

INTERESTS, SKILLS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
SCOUTING
I have been in Scouting since age eight. It has opened up a world of adventure to me, most notably my
participation in the World Scout Jamboree in Japan, 2015. This has involved fundraising for the cultural trip, and opportunities to boost my confidence in public speaking skills by giving a number of presentations, including to younger Scouting sections, Church communities, Business groups, and to HRH the Duke of Kent.

YOUNG LEADER, 37TH WOLVERHAMPTON SEA SCOUT GROUP
Up until summer 2019 I had been volunteering weekly as a Young Leader in my local Cub pack for the past five years, working as part of the Leadership team to plan and run games and everyday adventurous activities for Young People aged 8-10. It was extremely rewarding seeing the progress of Young People for two years as we inspired them to grow and develop. I have also gained many skills such as teamwork, leadership and organization.
DEBATE MATE
In secondary school I joined up with the “Debate Mate” team which involved training and competing for debate tournaments held all across England. I was a key speaker for my team and we ended up winning the regional cup at the University of Birmingham, we then competed in the finals in London and came sixth overall for the country.

MUSIC
During lockdown I took up music production and have been learning the drums for a year. I am very passionate about the drums in which I have excelled with self-taught sessions.
LANGUAGES
Alongside English, I can also speak French fluently and Japanese to a strong professional level.
